  2. Talk with teachers, students, and counselors about electives that interest you.
  3. Attend the Elective Fair and AP Panel on January 31st
  4. If you are not recommended for a course, discuss the reasons with the teacher.
  5. Record March 15 as the override date for guaranteed placement in a course, April 27 the absolute last date to override- depends on space availability.
  6. Do not take the class because it will benefit you later, not because it will “look good on your transcripts”.
  7. Choose your course wisely.
  8. Talk with teachers, they know your abilities work ethic and test scores they will give you an accurate evaluation about the appropriate class level for you.
  9. Talk with teachers and ask what the class expectations are such as work load, type of assignments of difficulty level.
  10. Record June 15 as the last day for making schedule change requests.

Dropping Classes- Any schedule change made after the first nine weeks will be a withdraw pass or a withdraw fail on the student's high school transcript.
