Team #1545
Pictures from the 2005 NASA/VCU Regional Competition!

Welcome to the DSF Robotics Team Web Page!
Here we document the story of
our very first robot.
lil' Skeeter
Here is Skeeter on February 13, one week before the deadline for delivery with design revision number 46.

Grady joins the team in making fun of Mr. Foltz's bad CADs.

It's the team with the tools that wins the day!

Skeeter starts to come together.  Despite pleas from the team, the robot takes on the shape of a tetra!

Skeeter flips a tetra at Devon

Unfortunately, FIRST does not award any points for stacking a tetra on a team member!

Because if they did, we'd be a shoe-in!

Any team that can still smile, even a little bit, at 10:40pm on a school night, has got to be something special.

Skeeter ready to roll during secret testing inside the DSF Library.
(The Lexan side panels are not fitted at this point)

Loaded with a tetra, ready to deliver and unload.

No tetra can stand the mighty force of Skeeter's tilt table!

Fortunately, our robot building skills are much better than our tetra building skills!

Some things defy explanation, and shall not be commented on here.

lil' Skeeter......a robot with class!
