Hitler used persuasion / propaganda techniques to persuade Germans and deceive the world.  Under Hitler, the Nazi Party attempted to control the media and destroy and rewrite books.  They used positive symbolic images for their own party and negative images for the Jews.  Parades and rallies were held to get Germans to join the Nazi party.  Concentration camps were kept a secret.
