Summer
Artwork Blog
This blog was created in an effort to help guide the artwork of my students who are
entering Art IV and V next year. It is my goal to share the individual feedback
that I am giving my students. This forum should allow all of my students
to see my commentary for the work of their classmates, and will hopefully
help to spark ideas about the work created this summer.
Online
Gallery
I
have created a variety of galleries that are available for on line viewing.
These galleries include images from my Art III, Art IV, and Graphic Design
classes. Please take the time to look at these galleries to get an idea
of the art-making that is done in the art department of DRHS. Click

Scholastics
Competition: Statistics
Having coached soccer and golf for so long, I found that
the all-time team and individual statistics were great motivators for
my players. Since I'm in the unique situation of having been at Deep Run
since it opened, I figured I might as well find out what the data tell
me about departmental progress. I recently sorted through all of the scholastics
records of the DRHSART department since it opened in 2002. I have compiled
that data into a webpage containing all of the award winners in our school's
history, and have created a points system to rank our student achievement.
It is my goal to use this document as a motivational tool for the rising
senior class. The class of 2010 is incredibly competitive, and it is my
goal that students use this web page to evaluate their achievements against
the best art students who have been through the DRHS ART Program, with
the aim of reaching the top of the list..

etc.).
