CANDIDATE FOR THE PARTY'S NOMINATION - someone who has filed the paper work to run for their politcal party's nomination for elected office. In this case the office of President.
MEDIA - any news organization that reports the news. It may be a newspaper, tv, magazine or an Internet site.
ISSUES - key topics as identified by the people or the candidates themselves. These topics include a problem and a resolution as offered by the candidate.
SENATE - elected body where two individuals are elected to represent their home state.
HOUSE - elected body where a representative is elected from a district within a state to represent the citizens of that district.
