Project P.I.N.K.
Thanks for Sticking Your Neck Out to do the Right Thing!

THE BULLYING BLOG IS NOW OPEN!!!
REPORT BULLYING HERE!!! (CLICK ON LINK)

Each grade
level will read 3 different novels throughout the year and discuss the various themes
consisting of diversity, decision-making, respect etc.  Research shows students who
learn the impact of empathy, respect differences, and respect themselves are less
likely to bully or be bullied and are more likely to Stick Their Neck Out to do the
Right Thing when they see bullying happening to others.

Our Cougars did a great job last year of REPORTING bullying situations via emails,
notes to teachers or counselors, talking to teachers or counselors or adminstrators, or
telling a friend or parent who can help them report the incident to someone at school.
We also started our blog which was very successful!  Students wrote to the Flamingo
and let him know what was going on that was bothering them or someone they know.
We encourage students to continue to use this site to report incidences of
bullying or other things that do support way of The Creek!  We encourage students to
give their names as well as the person they are reporting so we can follow up.  Their
name will NOT be posted on the blog site, but it will help us gather more information
so we can assist them with the issue.
Remember:  It's NOT snitching...See Something!!!  Say Something!!!
