Calculating the Slope of a Line (WS 4)

Below you can see a linear equation and it's graphical representation as a line.

Note: Write down all your answers on a sheet of paper.
  1. Move point M along the line and watch the side lengths of the slope triangle. Choose 3 different positions for point M and calculate the value of the slope using your formula about "rise" and "run" (worksheet 2). 
  2. Repeat step (1) for at least 2 different values of slider m.
  3. Describe the relation between your solutions and the value of slider m.
