Practice with Slope

To move the red line you may click on and move Points A and B. Stop each point at an intersection point on the grid. Slope is the ratio of the vertical change to the horizontal change between two points.

    Do the following and record your answers:
  1. Move the blue slider to 1. Move points A and B so they lie on the new line. Calculate the slope using the arrows.
  2. Move the blue slider to 2. Move points A and B so they lie on the new line. Calculate the slope using the arrows.
  3. Do the same as above by moving the blue slider to 3, 4, and 5.
