Investigation Steps

Click on the reset icon icon to reset the diagram.

Be sure to show diagrams, explain why and make specific references to what happened when you constructed and measured the triangle.

A triangle that has two sides of equal length is called isosceles.

Create an example of an isosceles triangle, one of whose vertices is (3, 5).

If you can, find a triangle that does not have any horizontal or vertical sides.

Use the Polygon tool, polygon tool to connect the points and create the triangle.

Use the text tool, text tool to measure the length of the segment AB by typing "AB = " + measure[A,B]".
