Sally Sodium

                           A poem about me

Hi, my name is Sally Sodium.

Teachers talk about me from their podium.

Everyone thinks I’m a winner,

because I add flavor to your dinner. Put me in your cookie batter,

because I am an important element of matter.

You can also find me in the hospital,

where I’m making patient’s quick recovery possible.

I’m also the sodium vapor in a light,

that will make your street ever so bright.

              Sally Sodium’s Job....

Sally will be a nurse at MCV hospital. She will be used in an injection(Cephtriaxone) that most patients will be getting before going into surgery. The shot prevents infection during the procedure. Sally will be very useful because she will help patients recover from their procedure without any problems. She will make the road to recovery for the patients a lot easier.

I picked this song “Saltwater Room” because it says the word Salt in it.
