Using the Sample SOL Aligned Curricula
The purpose of these sample curricula is to help local school divisions fill the gap between the Standards of Learning, K-8, and the challenges facing teachers as they decide how to teach for those standards. It will assist teachers and staff to develop curricula that reflect the SOL and focus the instructional program to the extent that student achievement will meet the standards established by the Virginia Board of Education.
