Dear Parents: Each summer there are many opportunities available to students of all grade levels.  Many of these programs appear to be available by school nomination to a select group of students.  Many of these programs have a significant cost.  While we are committed to providing information to our students and parents, we make no nominations to "for profit" organizations and do not endorse student participation.  Some of these are good opportunities, but should be investigated by the parent carefully.  While these programs may be beneficial to students, they may not enhance their transcripts or will necessarily improve their chances of being accepted to colleges of their choice.
