Day 3 - The Longest Day, pt. 2The third movie is finally one that I am interested in...Cars! The problem (and it is not really a problem) is that Bob, Nimo and I have begun a very interesting chat about Japanese culture. Basically, Bob and I are drilling poor Nimo with questions about food, school, things to do, etc. You name it, we asked it! I found out that Nimo thoroughly enjoys fly fishing and has recommended several types of food. Fruits are very fresh this time of year and he says we should try tempura shrimp, unagi eel with teriyaki sauce on rice, ramen, tonkatsu (deep fried pork), chestnuts, breads, and most importantly - Chinese food. Apparently Chinese food in the U.S. makes him vomit...We talk throughout the entire 3rd movie until we get another update on our travels. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() We've now crossed the International Date Line so today just became tomorrow! As the flight continues, more snacks come our way. I guess they figure if they can keep us happy and full, we won't complain about the length of time on the plane. I think this is the missing script to "Teachers on a Plane"...Here's what they brought this time..
Do you see a difference in the most recent pictures? ![]() ![]() Same information but with an added twist! A lot of people have begun walking around so I decide to join them. Hey, look where I stumbled into. ![]() Wait until you see the next picture... ![]() You didn't think I was going to take any other picture, did you? Here are some of the other shots I took while trying to get blood circulating into my rear end...
Next came dinner (even though this was around 9:05 p.m. which is really midnight for us). I got to choose between the cheese pasta or the beef and noodles. Of course I went with the beef. Mmmm....just like mom's cooking when she was locked up in prison...(sorry ma....just kidding!)
I had to get photos of Nimo and Bob...you should be able to figure out who is who...
And I'm off the plane! Woo hoo! I'll update more of this day later but right now I am exhausted!
Since these journals are getting a bit long and have lots of pictures, I will start splitting up the days where necessary. It is also easier at times to do this since I often have a break around lunch. |
